ive been pondering on the idea of a wood bed floor on my 85 xtracab. i wanna do cherry wood with chrome inserts, that with a black paintjob would look great. has any1 else done this to their trucks? if so any tips or perhaps step by step instructions? any help atall would be much appreciated.

There's a few guys that have done it on streetsource but not to a yota srry no help from me. Google how to do a wood bed floor an see what pops up

 

wouldnt be bad... i would just build a new floor above the old with angle iron and some bracing then attach the wood and strips... you could use the strips to hold the wood and attach them to the bracing..

 

ive been planning to do this for awhile but i havent yet, ive been looking through magazines with older trucks to see what i need to do to get it done
