i'm really itching to put my mk4 supra wheels on my pickup but i'll need some spacers to make this work(i don't wanna drill out the wheels).... i've seen a bunch on ebay but don't know if i should be aware of any cheezy brands. are these good???? WHEEL SPACERS ADAPTERS 25MM TOYOTA TRUCK/VAN/SUV PICKUP - eBay (item 220704181104 end time Dec-29-10 20:42:41 PST) i figured they should work great since the centerbore is bigger than our trucks so i wouldn't have to drill them..
So Ive gone through this pain already. You will need to center bore the wheels or the spacer (front) no way around that. I bored out my wheels and got the spacer that fit out truck (70 something cant recall our bore on the truck). Knowing what i know now. I would have gotten the spacer with the 67.1 bore to fit the Supra rims then have the spacer bored out to fit over the truck for the front. As for the rear you will need at least a 5-8mm spacer to clear the center bore on the drums. You wont need to bore out the wheels for the rear as the spacer clears the lil lip on drum. Also make sure you get the special toyota lug nuts.
do you mind posting a pic of the rear wheel fitment on your truck?? i wanna see how close it sits to the fender because i was thinking that i won't get the look i want from 5-8mm spacers.... i want the wheels to sit almost flush with the fender.
yea i was thinking of just buying another pair of the 25mm spacers for the rear... what i'll do is wait till the spacers come and install one on the front and one on the rear and see how they work out... THANKS for your help btw
lol cool... well heres the only two i found on my computer... i got more just haven't uploaded them yet... i'll probably do that when i make my intro thread as well as post pics of my other cars and my truck
haven't done anything under the hood yet but i'll have a 1.5jz in there soon.... i wanna play with my truck first
+29.... when all this snow is gone i'll try them out... my friends been buggin me to put the wheels on the truck and slam it lol
