Thinking of buying this one 1987, owner saying its clean title however looks smashed in the front or hood and front fenders look painted and don't match rest of truck color on certain angles?

You see any other problems with the body? How much would you pay for it, (condition fair and not 4x4)?

Definitely took a hit in the front. The clean title just means that the accident either wasn't reported to insurance and fixed at home (most likely) or it wasn't enough to total it out.
Without knowing the mileage, how it runs, and what kind of maintenance has been done to it, giving an estimate is hard to do.
Around here, a truck with around 200k, that runs ok and would pass smog, and looks like that, I wouldn't give like $1200-$1500 tops.

Yup front end smash. Doesn't look major on the outside but once the hood is open you'll be able to see a whole lot more of the story.

Around here that's a $800-1000 truck any day of the week.

Check the inner fenders and front body mounts for any odd bends, or even folds in the metal.

Its already been said, it took a hit and looks like the driver door was opened a little too far at some point or maybe the fender got pushed back and the door was forced open
