well 2 things, first I need to order at least rod, main bearings, thrust washers, piston rings, and a gasket set. For me to get name brand stuff like sealed power and felpro its gunna cost me like 160 to 200 depending where I get it locally. Should I do that OR just order a complete rebuild kit for the same price but probably less quality. I want to do that for the spare parts but dont want this thing falling apart either...

also who knows where I can buy timing cover bolts.. ALL of them... no I didnt loose them all, I have a spare 22r I have taken all apart and I need those bolts to put that one back together.

as far as the rebuilt goes... a buddy of mine ordered this kit off ebay. said it was really good kit... if you have a re motor call and make sure you get the computer safe cam... i would call him first anyhow... he said a lot of hte parts said toyota right on them.... cant go wrong for the price since thats waht they want jsut for an aftermarket cam... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-22R-22RE-268C-Torkr-Cam-MASTER-KIT-EB-kit-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ380257027002QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I gots no truck, for now
ive gotten in arguments with felpro and mr. gasget before, but generally they are great products. If you are on a budget though i would just get the full rebuild kit off ebay, and do the whole motor all at once...

I am on a tight budget but my timing kit is brand new with 10 miles on it and oil and water pump are brand new, starter is new, clutch is new, alt is new.. everything is new. the only things I havent changed which I should now is the freeze plugs, and all lower end bearings.. EVERYTHING else is brand new, seals and all.
