So Im going to start getting more serious into custom fabs soon and will be buying a welder soon. I just dont know what will be best for what Im looking to do.

I just want to do the car related fabrication. I will be wiring up a sub panel in my garage and will have both 120/240 at my disposal.

If you guys have something better then let me know.

I will also like the ability to weld aluminum and stainless too.

 

I have the welder an its great welded 1/4" no problem for aluminum an stainless I believe you'll need different gas an wire

 

yota4life you are correct ,also for aluminum you'll need a spool gun.
