I have a 91 pickup with x runner wheels and I'm going to buy tires for them soon. What size tires do you guys think will look good on them? The stock size is 255 45 18 but I want something a little smaller.

 

Why would you want something smaller? If so then get different rims

 

Exactly how wide are the X-Runner wheels?
255/45/18 is pretty damn good.
Might as well get 255/40/18 or 245/55/18 and don't complain about small tires.

how low are you going?
may need to roll the 2wd fenders or get 4wd fenders.

 

Well maybe he likes those rims an wants a smaller profile to lower it? Doesn't mean he needs different wheels. On my 18s I have a 235/40/18 to big for me but they're nice an I don't feel every damn bump. I'm gonna drop to a 225/35/18 but I'm bagged tho

 

225/40 is a popular size for 18s. U feel every dam pebble tho

 

the x-runner wheels are 18x8. do a 205/45 at the minimal. it will be a little narrower, and still keep a decent sidewall.

 

On my 235s I barely feel anything at all. Better than my 205/40/17. Cause it was stretched a little.
