i am about 2 do a conversion on my hilux but am needing to know what gear box i have the only thing stamped on it is 33141-20091 sk-5 when i brought the truck they said it was a celica box they put in but nothing came up when i put the numbers on line if anyone knows what this gearbox is would be a big help cheers.

 

Minus the "sk-5" according to this link (http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...toyota+++33141-20091&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) it's W-52.

And according to this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_W_transmission), W52's were out of a 84-88 Hilux from Australia.

Needless to say I don't know for sure...I just googled it.

I don't see why not.

Assuming the 84-88' Hilux came with a 22R out there (Australia/New Zealand) and you've got an R motor you're trying to mate the tranny to...

1976. 20R. Should pretty much be a bolt-on swap, with very little if any modifications.
