    Hello,

What I have here is a 22R in a 1986 P/U 2wd 5-speed short bed with 177K miles that needs a head gasket, timing set, yada yada yada, and I just dont have the time to do it myself. If you have succesfully done this job many times before I am willing to hire you to do the work, I can deliver the truck to your location within 150 miles of zip code 03865 (southern NH / Mass line). You can have it for as long as it takes to do this right the first time, so I'm not in a huge rush but would like to do this in Sep/Oct/Nov-2010 sometime if that works for you.

The 22R is in running condition. There is some exhaust leaking into the coolant and its burning a small amount of coolant too. It has the occasionaly klacky valve train noise (timing chain most likely) that goes away 30 seconds after starting, but once the engine is hot the klacking is heard at idle. The engine is not overheating, so thats good news. Have not pulled the valve cover yet so I dont know if the timing chain guide(s) have broken.

Please send me an email via this forum (include your phone number) -or- reply directly to this thread if you are interested and we'll get started. Thanks for looking. -Alan
