    depends on how old/crusty they are. when they're new and flexible they aren't terrible, then they get hard and are harder, then they get crusty and crumble. This is speaking from experience on my old cressida with the 5MGE. out of 12, 2 came off mostly intact and 3 weren't even there. yes it burned a lot of oil.
