Well, since it was raining here & after watching the LAKERS whoop Cleveland :clapping:, I decided to replace all of my vacuum hoses. I had bought some silicone tubing & went at it. It was pretty easy. Just pulled one at a time, measured, cut & replaced. To my surprise half of the hoses either broke off or were in pretty bad shape. While replacing also noticed the the PCV grommet was just hard as a rock & crumbling. So I replaced that also. After checking all my hoses started the truck, but still had a leak somewhere. After spraying some intake cleaner narrowed the problem the the EGR TEMP SENSOR location. Apparently the previous owner decided he didn't need an actual gasket...just a bunch of cheap silicone! So after cleaning it off, bought a new gasket, & now my 22re idles so smoothly! Actually runs better too. This was a very inexpensive upgrade to do (bout $20) & only took me bout an hour or so. Definitely something everyone should do to their yota's! :waytogo:

I like the added color! Looks sweet! And the better idle is a huge bonus!

keep an eye on those hoes, i had a set of them on my truck, and the vacuume would suck them shut.
