soon after this I realized it spewed oil so the valve cover had to come off. figured Id dress the motor up and also spend too much time hand sanding the upper plenum
next came the belltech drop spindles, balljoint flip and re-indexed the torsion bars. removed the middle leaf, the one below the pack and the overload leaf.
drove around for a while and kept hearing a rattle in the front. took it all apart to find that the truck was crashed before and the driver side core support welds failed so my wheel tubs were rattling against it and the core support was bent in three pieces.
well figured time to learn how to weld didn't like the idea of not building whatever I could teach myself to do. bought a welder and practiced plug welding as much as possible while I prepped the front end
while doing this I scored some supra seats for cheap so put them in and got my hands on a 4runner bumper. I still need 4x4 fenders and a new hood cause they r bent and don line up correct. went full phantom grille because I wanna do the corner delete eventually and am tired of the 4runner grille that everyone has.
I had to drill all all the rivets off the supra seats to seperatthe rail from the actual seat...to do this you have to take all plastics offthe seats and unbolt the bottom cushion were ur ass would be...then place the stock yota bracket in and drill holes into the supra seat and bolt them up....the driver side was the same but i had to make a braket for the inside of the seat that bolts on near the tranny side.. also have to hammer the sheetmetal on the bottim off supra seat to allow the lever for seat adjstment to move freely up and down.... will post pics later when i get home...
