Well I have been looking but hard to find stuff with out 4x4's popping up and slammed trucks.

I came across this company SWAY-A-WAY - axles, torsion bars, and shocks for trucks, cars, and off-road vehicles - Torsion Bars
they seam pretty pricey 600 for set of t bar's :jawdrop: or 200 for the other set

Then there's bell tec sway bars but herd the rear sway bar does not fit ????
is there better sway bars out there ?

and last but not least doing coil over swap in the front

all in all i don't want to spend to much money i have looked around but time to ask around time

give me nice big fat list to look form to would be nice

    Thanks

first, what type of racing are you doing?
if its street/track you will not need the 300m (#31636) sway a way torsions. they are for log travel desert racing trucks and will be incredibly stiff on anything else. the #1636 will work on stock length arms and will have an increased spring rate. if you can find them used, downey also used to make upgraded torsions about the same as the sway a ways.

doing a proper coilover conversion can get pricey too depending on who you go with for shocks and springs and there is a lot of options out there too. single, or dual rate. non adjustable dampening, 1 or 2 way adjustable. reservoir or non. then you have to figure out the fab work to mount the setup and get enough clearance for the coilovers to fit. there is not really going to be a bolt in kit for this.

I run 2" drop spindels and 3" belltech drop leafs, sway a way t bars and hellwig sway bars and my truck handles great. If you look around you can fimd new and used. My setup right around 1k for all of it. You get what you pay for. Just search and you will find good deals.

Hot lap and auto cross and downey is no more ): I just wish they told the spring rate

Coilover setup would be a set of qa1's or some thing like that since there cheep for what they are but there not a gas shock if remember right.

fab work for me is no big deal just get tube bent then weld plate for ball joint ect ect or run set of a djm lowers for more room for coil over.

Da roach how do you like the be tec drop leafs ? and did you still run an over load ?

reason why I ask is I can get bell tec stuff for dirt

and do you have pic of your truck ride height too

I'm running the sway aways got them used but they did make a good bit of difference combined with my shocks and poly bushings and end links up front maid a vast improvement .. I used to end up in the passenger seat of my truck after a run ...I say there worth the money.

    A new question

is it true that djm lower control arms allow more room for a coil-over

if not I can just get a set a drop spindles

to me, it seems like you would have the clearance problem with the upper arms, not the lowers.
