Ok Ihear all this stuff about w56's and whatnot so my question to you guys who know stuff is what tranny do I have????? Called a few parts places and they want the code apparently they dont have one of those systems they can just type the model and make into and find out. I have a 94 2wd 5speed manual that needs replaced its and ex cab if that matters, dont know what other info to give. Peace
look for the build sticker in the door. says on there. here's mine: see on the bottom right where it says A/TM F372/W55? A/TM means you're looking at the diff and trans codes. F372 is the diff, 7.5" 3.5:1, W55 is the transmission.
