So at my last show the solenoid that is on the train horn line stuck open,( foreign material in the solenoid)! Luckily another Mini Trucker had a short piece of 1/4'' line with a shredder valve in it so I could block off the air supply!
Today I made up & installed in line a shut off & filter to try & prevent **** from getting to the solenoid & if so I can shut off the air supply!!

Got any pics of the entire train horn set up? Was always curious to see how people did it in small trucks. :waytogo:

Thanks Ricky,it should do the job!

Thought I had a photo of the new one in place ,I'll take one today!
The first one I mounted behind the front bumper, I welded bolts off the back side to mount the 17'' single trumpet horn, it failed after 5 years,& I didn't want to drop the bumper to replace it! I will repair it once the next time the bumper is off!
The new one is 18'' single trumpet, mounted under the bed facing rearward, forward of the axle. First was 176db's, the new one is 186 db's!

I can tell you from seeing this truck in person a few weeks ago....it's loud and the install is perfect.
