Tps removal help!!!

    how can i take out the tps of a 22re motor without taking off the manifold?

    its on the throttle body itself.

    remove intake tube
    remove TB from manifold (3 bolts and 1 nut)

    go for it

    thanks, i did it but the tps was a different fitting.
    i have a 22re and wrenched off the other tps from a 22re also but it was different. how many different tps's are there for 22re?

    my plug is squarish and the other one is roundish.
    are there any differences?:shrug:

    what year of 22RE did you pull it off of? it may be from an older 22RE.... :[

    pics would help....mine is square and i have a 91..i just removed the throttle body because it makes it allot easier to adjust the TPS when you put the new one on

    sorry i dont have a camera at the moment, but i do think it changed after years, i have a 90. idk what year the other 22re was.

    i thought it was just plug and play but when i looked it up, the tps is really technical. any tips?
