Toyota's Star Safety System campaign - Click above to watch videos after the jump​

Some of us might have become a bit cynical about "the Toyota safety story," but in fact there is one, and it was such a big deal that it helped get the Japanese carmaker to the top slot not long ago. As part of the rectification of recent events, Toyota is taking that safety story back to the front lines in an ad campaign touting its new Star Safety System: five driver aids that now come standard on all Toyotas including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist.

Toyota claims to be the first full-line manufacturer to offer these systems on all of its cars, and it will be adding a brake-override system to its entire range by the end of the year.
