My 93 toyota pickup, fuel injected 22re engine ,started to want to shut off, the idle is to low. Can someone walk me thru procedure of raising the idle ? Just started happening , runs great when your driving. when your at a signal light engine shakes and wants to turn off.Thanks for anyone that can help me.

 

there's a slotted screw on the side of the throttle body pointing up. that's the idle adjust screw. I doubt that it suddenly screwed itself in though, something else is probably causing the problem since it started suddenly.

FYI after thoroughly cleaning the IACV, manual idle screw passage, and throttle plate I now have the screw about 1/2-3/4 turn out....about 1/3 turn less than prior to cleaning.
