Thanks for the TORC link. Didn't know they existed. Was looking at the galleries, and saw some sweet looking 2dr hatch's with the mirrors way out on the fenders like the old datsun 240's. Thought, is that a celica?, and sure enough it was. Didn't know those existed either. Always been a fan of the older datsun's, including the 510, also been a MINI fan. Had an 07S for awhile, but the classics are more interesting. Now I have a new obsession. Classic celica hunt. Thanks again.

Re-reading my post, sorry if I came off sounding like a dork. It's just that I've attended almost every year (and I was even at the meeting when they were planning the first one), I just assumed everyone knew about it...

There is also JCCS. This one is all J-tin up to 1988 but there are lots of Toyotas there as well:

Japanese Classic Car Show / JCCS 2013 .

And then there is Nisei Week Car show in LA, in August. This used to be mostly (all?) J-Tin but I think they expanded to get more participation. I don't attend this one much because it gets very crowded.

These three are local to me so it's easy to attend.

If you like Nissans, there is an all-Nissan show in Northern California. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the show...

Washington has the puget sound Toyota owner club, PSTOC. They throw a show every year. All Toyotas. Very style, every gen, anything TEQ allowed. I've shown in it a couple times.

I also threw a few hilux get togethers in Seattle a few years ago. Got pics of lots of 2nd gens lined up. Ill find some pics.
