I know the “torsion bar bolts stuck” threads have been posted everywhere but none of them apply to my current situation. I removed the passenger side one by just cutting the bolt head off and then everything else just shot out from under truck which was good. With the driver side, I grinded the bolt head off and it isn’t coming out of the half moon spacer. I can turn the entire bolt with the 2 lock nuts, but Beating the half moon spacer with a hammer, heating up the entire thing, and PBlaster hasn’t done anything. Please help

I got them from the dealer years ago for my old truck. Got the whole set up, bolts, half moons and nuts

Thanks jetas, called my local dealer today, $60 later (ouch, for 4 nuts and spacers) and a couple days later they said all of the hardware should be in for pickup.

Not too bad. Ran me about $40 for all the hardware for one side

Dang.. other threads I’ve seen people are saying they paid under 30 for everything. But then again some of those threads are almost a decade old. Just happy to finally drop the front end

Hey HT, how many clicks did you go to reset your torsion bars, and how many inches did you drop? Got my ‘79 in the air right now, hoping to avoid a lot of trial and error. Thanks in advance.
