Got my front markers and emblems back today. Threw em on, should have my flush tailgate by friday!!! Tightened up the belts as well.

I did some inside cleaning, cleaned out my junky azz floorboard and slapped in a tacoma bench seat i got on saturday!

bench is out of a '95 tacoma, put in my '84 longbed....

aaww yeahh....

for a 27 yr old bench, it gave it's usefulness and now it was time for it to move on....
(btw, sorry for the crappy cellphone pics, my evo don't like the dark much GRRR)

Ok, that hole there is where the original seat went...
I have to redrill two new rear holes andd use some
washers and bolt and nut...

the front two lined up perfect, BUT, there was
a STUD on the drivers front that had to be
sawed off for it to properly clear the area....

other then that, seat is AWESOME!

 

Today I went to the Slavage yard and pulled me two low back bucket seats out of a Ford Probe with the head rests already out of them, so in the four holes I', gonna put big spikes and build custom brackets to fit them into my Yota! Can't wait!

 

Today i FINALLY FINALLY got my drop leafs on my yota

 

yesterday got stranded on the freeway, so if any of the minis I saw rolling thru that was me on the side of the 15. I was on the road when I saw the temp going up, and right before it got to the red, I pulled over. as soon as I did the radiator overfill cap started gushing water. FTL no worry's I pulled out the toll box and took off the thermostat housing, it was open. wtf. looked inside the radiator and it had crud in there. Also noticed 2 leaks on it so had to replace it.

Today I put a new radiator, water and water wetter and gave her a much needed wash.

Today i drove the kracker (thats what i named it)around town with the bed off. Noticed not even a mile from my house in the chilis parking lot they had alittle car meet / show going on. Alot of old cars and bugs and trucks. No toys. So once my truck is done im planning on going to it and posting my truck up there to show it off. They do it every WEDNESDAY. So any of you locals around here want to bring your toy down and show it with mine would be cool.

I am as soon as my fuel filter and fuel pump come in and i install it.

 

Working last 8 days on a 87 Nissan,will be back on mine tomorrow!

 

I've done close to nothing on my truck for days and it's pissing me off..Sucks when you have too many projects already and have nowhere to dissassmble the next one.

 

I SO hear that!!! LOL! Seems like there's never enough room for parts!!!
I've currently got both my 87 and 93 down to the frame and about to lift the cabs off their frames. The 87 has a whole new chassis already built, I'm currently finishing the body mod to the cab and will likely start a build thread
It's a 4wd 22rte standard cab....
Then back to the frame off on the 2wd and the v8!

 

I called Cando the other day and still no response. Hope to hear from them soon. Getting a little impatient I wanna start my build. I was hoping to have the chassis work done before the super run in Henderson, Nevada but now there's no way I could get everything done and painted before then..

 

added a TM sticker. good for like 100 hp

I removed the fenders and door panels. Also, we started shaving the door handles. Next will be building the new frame and 4 link for the rear...

 

cut the front clip back off the old engine is ready to come out and the new one will be going in this weekend
