whats up peoples. My first post here, and sorry if it has been asked a hundred times, I did a bit of searching, but my wifi sucks.

Im about to drop my 92 single cab truck 2/3" with spindles and blocks, and I wanted to know what would be the ideal tire size for me. rims are 15x8 with 3.75 back spacing. This truck is used for work/beach so im looking for a tire size that will look good but still be functional. thank you in advance!

Usually we get a bunch of guys coming here asking the same thing, for that "stance" ****.

well, if you want to keep the drivability and without sacrificing top end...

    225/55/15
Little small, but not completely small...
Your wheel will be an inch wider compared to this wheel.

Remember, the sidewall series number is just a percentage of the width.

    205/75/14
    205mm wide/ Sidewall is 75% of 205mm/ on a 14" rim

    275/35/18
    275mm wide/ Sidewall is 35% of 275mm/ on a 18" rim

    so on so forth.

Thank you so much! Appreciate your response! I just wanted to give my work/surf truck a better look, than the factory sunk rims and stock ride height. This is actually the first truck I will be lowering as I told myself, I would never lower a truck, lol. Since its only 2wd, no sense in raising it.

This truck scene is totally new to me. In the past ive built 800whp toyotas, a 3.4 supercharged '85 straight front and numerious 240sx's. This is an awesome site, and again, thank you for the information!

No problem, man. Our Toyota's are like legos.

For an 8" wide wheel, if you want to make it *actually flush* and not sunken battleship status, aim for a total of +30mm offset. For a 89-95 with 8" wide wheels, that should put it really close to flush with the body panels.

My 18x10's with +22 on 4wd fenders fit almost flush. That's with fender lips rolled and slightly pulled.

We had a guy with 18x8's +30mm and the wheels were just under the fenders. He had a 1/4" spacer for the wheels i think.

How close do you want the speedometer to factory when you cruise the highways? Tire height is your choice, considering you had an '85. Tire size is like final drives :)

What does 225 60 15 look like on a 7" or an 8" wheel, anyone know?

those are 15X8's im going to get some 15x8s but i was deciding on the tire size i was thinking 225/50/15 but im not sure how it would look like or if i should get a less wide tire to give it a lil stretch look.
