Does anybody have any advice or tips on how to remove the third brake light on a 94 pick up. I’m leery of having a body shop weld patches since it’s a big panel and there’s several holes to weld don’t want any kind of warpage. I’ve also thought about the 3M panel adhesive but I’ve also heard that you’ll get ghost lines through the paint because of different metal thickness. Any suggestions.

I removed my cargo light on my 88 & installed a 3rd brake light LED strip. This is a complete custom truck . And yes must be wielded in . You will probably have to remove the head liner &rear glass so as no damage!

I'm thinking about removing it as well. Too bad they don't make a pre formed patch panel.
