So im going to start posting the build pic on here. so the plan is to race it. it kind of hard to describe it. when the chop is done im going to start the full frame. making all the sup to work with coil-overs when i go to the track. the motor was imported from japan. you can guess what it is for fun. it got 160hp stock. im putting a full cage in it with a race-pak dash. the cage and frame will be fully tig welded. i will put my rendering up when i load them

so will the coil overs be secondary to air? i had thought about doing mounts on my hilux so i could remove the bags and run coil overs occasionally.

 

Well I spot two motors in the background, both of which I own one of if my eyes are working ok.
3T-GTE twin spark 8 valve is 160hp, have one in my Starlet. Looks like a V series Hemi V8 there too, got one of those in my Corolla but don't think they were 160hp so I'm going to stick with the 3T-GTE as your engine of choice. Some nice looking work on that truck, keen to see updates.

The 5ve was the first motor but I did not want to make it fix. So I'm saving it for a stout. And the 5ve has 160 stock. The 3t-gte will be ezr to get to fit. The guy that is building my motor used to work for TRD And Cosworth racing motors. We r going to get it to 350 to 450hp I'm making the turbo manifold and the intake manifold to.
