I LOVE MY '92 PICKUP. I've had it about 2-1/2 years. It's just a standard cab short bed, 22RE, 5-speed m.t., 2WD. Nuttin' fancy. (Like me.) When I first got it, I did a complete tune-up, 4 new shocks, fluid changes, had a trans. leak fixed. installed White LED interior lighting...little stuff, nothing major. I'm not looking to "Hot-rod" it, or "Jack it Up", or whatever the younger guys are doing these days. I'm just a 63 year old retired industrial electrician...hahaha. Anyway, THANKS FOR HAVING ME. I do have a question about the speedometer. It quit working & I'm wondering if the speedo uses the old style mechanical cable or is electronic? I searched the archives but found conflicting information. I tried to remove the instrument cluster and look, but the plastic shrouds and stuff kept breaking, so I gave up. (sigh) Thnx for any help.
