My 94 Yota 22RE gets about 13 MPG in the city with normal driving. I do have 18's on the truck but I believe I still should get better gas mileage. Plugs, wires, and distributor was changed in Jan. Any suggestions other than getting a Prius? Im still thinking about Sea Foaming it.

My first suggestion is fuel filter. Alot of people over look those. Found out mine had 168k on the original filter. Ran a TON better!

Second suggestion is possibly the mass air flow sensor. Mine is goin bad and it is effecting my milage a little, but not like yours. I could be wrong on the air flow sensor. I'm not a mechanic, just goin off what my bro-in-law told me, and he is a mechanic.

could be your o2 sensor... mine was bad and never set off a light... do you know if your check engine light bulb is still good... to test hop in the truck and turn your truck to ignition... it should come on for a couple seconds... if you dont see it... its time to replace the bulb..
