Hola folks….This is tacochris from Texas, I joined this forum to be able to gain more small bits and pieces about yotas. Ive been a diehard Toyota/vw fan for over 20 years, owned over 9 toyota pickups of various years since then, a lot of which were slammed on some kind of rims…not a lifted guy but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect em. Im a minitrucker and have been for all of those 20ish years….Im not into performance or any of that jazz, just low, slow and clean is my thing….all the way. My first build was a slammed 86 SR5 in the 90’s into the early 2000’s…dropped, billets, shaved etc….sold it to build this next full build. My 2003 tacoma I bought brand new in 03 and owned for 8 years till I sold it to a friend. Did the build between friends and myself to what it looks like here……..I miss it but o well. Now my NEW build which Im immensely excited about is my 1984 Xtra cab carb’d yota…mostly original paint. Im building this one alone in my garage with a little assistance with lifting and such here and there from friends…..its currently almost done being bagged on 18” Foose Lussos and Im about to start the 3” stock floor to the rocker. Its rocking an original SuperShell also which is the pride of the build honestly. Im not into wild vehicles so it will be simple, VERY mild and subtle shave, original paint, bed floor raise, stockish interior…etc. The wildest thing is the body drop and the dual ragtops I will be adding in time. Debuting at LST2015 if all goes well. I build em to drive em and if it cant be driven more than on and off a trailer it wont be built…..so this will not be a trailer queen…
