The links that hold the sway bar to the chassis has broken on the passenger side and I can't find a replacement all recommendations are different. Do any other cars have the same set ups that would work with the 78 pick up?

Most Auto supply stores have the bushings ( not stock) & end links, which are just grade 8 bolts

This is what they look like. This is the broken one its located in front of the chassis and it holds the sway bar. As you can see the bottom part has broken off.

Do any other cars have this type of a set up? Maybe a 4runner or celica?

    Not sure.
But there are a few Toyota specific wreckers, I'd look them & call them you may find it.

@Toyotashack I ended up getting the broken bracket welded and got new bushings. But then ran into other problems. The new bushings are way to thick and needed to be cut down to fit in the bracket or heated and installed. But the biggest problem is the truck is to low to allow for a bolt to hold the sway bar. When the suspension bottoms out it will break any bolt. The frame hits right where the bolt should be. If you add the bolt bushings and washers it makes to high and its only a matter of time till the banging of the frame destroys the bolt. With out the bolt the frame come close to pitman arm but does not touch it cause the spring and the shock stops it.

Is the bolt on the LCA hitting the spring cup? I pulled my sway bar out because of this. Ive been trying to figure how to remount it after the bag job.

if you want the frame brackets let me know, i think i still have mine. you can have em just pay for shipping

I contacted Adco Suspension a couple years ago. They haven’t made the kits for many years, but still have the tooling, and made me complete sets for front and rear.

@jimi121v Do you have some pictures, and part numbers of that? I'm entrusted in seeing what that looks like.

I’ll try to find the paperwork with the part numbers, and take some pictures.

I haven’t been able to find the paperwork. I did a few pictures though. I drilled and tapped some 1/2” plate and welded it to the frame to install the bushing mounts to the frame in front. I did the same in the rear, but used through bolts instead of drilling and tapping. I’ll give them a call this week and see if the still have records of my purchase.
