I have noticed that my rear end wiggles easily when I apply pressure to the sides of my bed. I noticed my shackles need replacing. Would new shackles fix the wiggle? Or do I need spring bushings as well? What else could cause the wiggle effect?

Well, I see that you have an xtra cab. There in lies most of the problem. I noticed a year or so ago that mine does the same thing. I have replaced almost everything in the rear. I believe that it is caused by the long frame and the little bit of extra flex due to the extra length....

what size tires and wheels do you run? most of that "wiggle" side motion is from the tire sidewall....

Ya I think so. I had it sitting on the concrete garage floor. They are 31x10.5BFG M/Ts right now. Mounted on 15"s. Okay well thanks guys. I just need shackles.

You can check you leaf bushings by scrapping the rubber bushings with a screwdriver if it flakes apart change them, but even so having a 92 with 31's would probly be a cause for replacing them with poly ones anyway.:waytogo:
