Ok, so I had a blown head gasket when I got my motor tore apart, but now I have a new problem. Whoever tightened up the spark plugs over tightened the #4 plug and stripped the threads out of the head. Is this repairable or should I just try to find another head?

    Thanks
    Trey

They make different kinds of Helicoils. Try and get the ones that are solid metal rather than the foil kind. I've used both and have found the former ones have more bite to them.

For the most part it was a really easy fix, without removing the head.
