Thought of this when i seen a few pics in some of the old posts around here and thought it be a fun post. essentially..... post a picture of how low your truck is using a simple coke can (or beer can equivalent) at the lowest spot on your frame. truck must be on a flat surface. post your generation truck, and we'll judge who's the lowest by generation and so on simple rule however....... your truck MUST be static dropped. bagged guys can hang cus you guys can drop till you drag let the fun begin
game over. i win for 74-78s. heres the most current picture. ive actually readjusted the front springs a little. and got new slightly smaller tires. so it is about 1/2" lower than that. thats the front crossmemeber. and for comparison of any style, heres the frame in front of the tranny crossmember. again, before a slight bit more drop. its this truck, yet again before tweaks and new tires
Just, remove the whole rear end, place it down, place a can under the truck up front, and literally drop the front end on that can. game over static then have fun getting the truck off the ground lol
well mine is proof of all tires on the ground haha. cin, sell me some camera gear then buy an old school truck
for real. he always says he wants an old one. i did too. so i sold my 92 for $2000 and bought my 78 for $500. then had money to get a stereo, a weber, tune up parts, lowering parts, a header and do my exhaust. so i took my turd, sold it, and made a gem. lol. now back on topic....post those can pics!
kick the jack stands out from underneath it......... BAM! instant static drop! forgot to grab a shot of mine today....... had an interesting event happen today at work that kept me longer than expected after work.................. but i got a number
Im thinkin of just crankin the torsions since its already on the stands. But we shall see. i may be updating soon..
