that flywheel gives me a great idea since i gotta yank my trans this week anyways. how much did that run you?
Replied... Forgot to ask what part of town u in... *word of caution* The machinists that did this has been doing them since the late 80's... I'm sure there is a safe thickness that has to be met. So please be careful if it's a first time for your machine shop to do one... None of his flywheels failed thus far... *knocks on wood* IIRC, he charged me somewhere between $85-100 bucks + I paid $40 for the stocker and had it done while I was back home visiting...
cool. im thinking ill need mine turned anyways, and seeing a comparison, even knocking off that ring ridge on the other side would save some weight. i know a few places that do that type of stuff. figured id get a rough ballpark though. thanks man. wish i had the money for that side draft setup.
I try to keep my atm card from melting. Your not helpin!! Damn this is an expensive hobby. Anyway something like tuesday for the trans? Seat monday! Woot! Before I forget, it has the shifter too, right? Mines long gone...
Haha! Yea, tuesday morning sounds good bro and shifter included too... Bring extra ATM cards just in case you see something else you need...
all it needs is to have the collector scarffed off and a new collector put in place with an elbow in it............
