shipping a truck

    I gots no truck, for now
    anyone ever shipped a truck before? Ive never done it and i gotta move my stout to the bay area.

    any tips, people to trust or info on how to do this?

    91 V6 SR5 Xtracab, 87 22RE 4x4, 73 HiLux 18R SR5
    Bought mine from Louisville, Kentucky and got it shipped to Grand Forks,ND. It's a pretty good jaunt and it only cost me around $600 if I remember right. I couldn't have flown there and drove it back for any cheaper or gone down with a trailer for that matter.

    Anyway I used Uship. All you do is post on there what, where, and when and for a price you're willing to spend and drivers bud on it. If you are too low though they won't even look at it. Good luck.

    Waggoneers picks up and ships cars. Idk if they only do business with big companies with contracts and all that but it dont hurt to ask and see if they offer any info

    well i checked out uship, ive only revieved one quote and its like 850 for both trucks. that seems way way high for just gong to nor cal from san diego

    Rent a car trailer from uhaul and tow it up there. Its like 90 bucks a day and you can return the trailer in a different city..

    or just a big regular uhaul moving truck and put the stout in it...they are small little guys.

    i got 2 large tool boxes, all the stuff for my house 2.5 engines, 2 trans, a tool cart and my beer brewing stuff, i dont think there is enough room for the stout in the uhaul. would be nice, then trialer the 73 on the back of the uhaul :p
