i have a 1994 toyota pickup, i have some racing seats in it now but the back on the drivers seat so it falls back. but i got some buckets from the junk yard out of a 1994 4-runner. i went to put them in but the brackets are too wide. and i read that all 94 seats and stuff are interchangeable. and also, there is a peice that fits over the gauge cluster i dont know what its called, and it seems that out of all the toys i've seen, mine is the only one that has the peice that im talking about. so what is up with the seats not fitting, and what is the dash peice called, also if u know any where that i could get one from let me know. thanks for any help, ill be takin pics tomorow so you will know what im talkin about.

well, seems that my wife has misplaced the camera during the move, so the only pic i have for now has my car club logo in it. so hope no one minds but the peice im talkin bout as you can see in the pic it goes over the peice that i guess its the gauge cluster cover dont know the correct terminology but you get it, but if anyone know what that peice is, or y mine seems to be the only one that has it, i'd love any information on it.

Have the brackets on the 4runner seats been modified? The 92 4runner seats bolted right in in my 93.

Most of the time the best place to get OE pieces is a junk yard.

if your truck is an extended cab then thats probably what it is. i think the seat bolt locations are different from the regular cab to the ex cab. (just an observation from people saying the seats fit or dnt) Most say theyre a direct fit but thats been only in the regular cabs. Or maybe it depends on what seat your truck came with stock. (ex. full bench or a 60/40 split bench)

And the piace over the gauges i wud call a "stop ur face from crushing ur dash" part. lol. And either it was only the base models, or the '92+ models that had that dash. Cuz mine has a 1 piece upper dash pad and its an '89.

yea its the extended cab it had the 60/40 split bench in it, so is there any stock small bucket seats that will fit without mods? and just thought id throw this in here, but got First Place toyota truck at a show today. and what kind of dashes have people put in? im goin more towards custom building one, but dont know yet.

Take some measurements, go to the JY and see what is closest to what u have that way you dnt have to mod the brackets too much.
