Just wondering, anyone have their bed stripped? I'm thinking once I have all the kinks worked out and money gets better getting the body cleaned up and painted. I'll probably do the bodywork and paint myself, but I'm wondering what it would cost to have the pieces stripped first. I've done it with suspension pieces before and it wasn't too much and helps a ton to make things look new (see http://zcar.netdojo.com/suspension.php too see what I mean, looks good as new). Plus you get down to bare metal and can start fresh. On my old Mustang I did it the old paint stripper and sanding block way and found tons of bondo, so instead of fighting it (and because I really don't have the time to do all that anymore) I'd rather just pay to have it done. I can't imagine it costing an arm and a leg (I'm guessing $200-300 to strip the bed).

    Anybody had this done?

I got an estimate a couple months ago and it was $250. That was for just the bed and included the inside and the underside.
