Are they worth it? Can you tell any difference with them?

I'm about order my rebuild kit and they are optional at egnbldr, but I need to spend my money elsewhere if it is barely noticeable.

If the are, my choice would be with one that produces the most torque.

What about the cams from egnbldr? Are they an improvement over stock? with a stock rebuild?

from what I've been told, even the 4WD offroading guys love the oomph of torque that opens up.

yes they're nice when coupled with exhaust mods and intake mods. You'll notice a nice gain even without a header but if you plan on modding the exhaust down the road definately do it. I've had two 22re's with them and loved it.

to be quite honest....... ive run both engnbldr and lce cams...... out of both i think LCE makes the better cam. i also tried engnbldr's high output 270 cam and didnt like the power it gave me.

your cam however should be based off of what you want to do with your truck and what supporting modifications you will install to make the best use of your choice in cam.

I had an engnbldr cam in my last 22r. It was alright! power came on hard at ~2k and pulled great untill ~5 or 6k, but I wanted a cam that I could drive with my foot on the floor. The low end torque cams I have no experience with, but I'd imagine them to be a decent buy as well.

Hmm, well I might wait. I have to get a new radiator, and i need to stay on budget. But I can always throw a cam in later, when funds permit.
The machine shop bill just went up today due to extra work to the crank, it was gouged too deep,, they have to weld it up then turn it back to spec. So that killed some of my extra money.

Sometimes life just sucks don't it?

    Thanks for the replies guys
