This is my 77 ute, nicknamed Rusty. He's had a bit of a hard life having done 650,000 KM so far, which is to the moon and almost back again:

I intend to continue using it as a farm ute for carting water, moving firewood etc. I believe it's an ex-telecom truck and the previous owner said it previously carried an IBC full of water (1000 KG).

I actually drove it between farms when I picked it up, how it ran I have no idea as the gas was completely stale, most of the carb seized up and the fuel pump hardly working. I dread to think when the engine was last serviced.

It ran so badly the first job was to begin a re-build of the carb:

The interior has seen better days, but I can patch that seat up up and throw a cover on it. Despite the condition the seat unbolted just fine and I've now freed off the seized mechanism:

The floor pan is mostly present:

And the engine bay is easier to work on now it's clean:

Once it runs again the next job it to make it stop, as it was an interesting drive with brake fluid in only one of the brake master cylinder.

    Cheers,
    Chris
