1976 model with drum brakes all around, column shift manual, bench seat.
Running and kind of driving with no clutch and almost no brakes
Been sitting in a field for 8 years with the windows down so plenty of rust throughout.

Nice truck! If you have too much rust i think they sell new floorpans from australia on eBay. Theyre for the gen after these trucks but from what i hear theyre nearly identical. Like $80 a piece

Wonder if it was trim thing. Because that looks like the 72.5-74 cab and bed with a 75+ grille. Weird

    A few.

So far I've notched the chassis in the rear and removed all suspension ready for airbags. replaced drivers door, taillights, new wheels & tyres. Tried to straighten up the body a little bit.
Fender mirror mounts were poorly filled in so I cleaned them up and bought new mirrors.
Front drum brakes were basically seized up so they've been removed to make way for later model discs.
Had a go at plastic welding some cracks in the grille, not great but it's an improvement.

That's with springs removed and wheel tubs cut out. Waiting on airbags to arrive, have 4 link and bag brackets ready to go in.

I will be doing whatever necessary to get the frame laying completely flat so if the front of this is anything like 90's models then yes I will be. Hopefully it doesn't need to big of a Z

Because of where the LCA is mounted to the frame that portion needs to be raised. Id say 1.5" might be enough to clear it. Another idea i had was cut and raise the Control arm mounts an equal amount and section the bottom of that crossmember and box it back up. Reconfiguring the steering is goint to be the fun part
