Reverse lights.

    As the title indicates, this thread is about the reverse lights on my '77 longbed.
    Neither of them work.
    I pulled the right-hand side one yesterday (it was blown) and put a new one in.
    Problem is, still nothing.

    I'm going to check tomorrow to see if they're getting electricity, but if they aren't, do you guys know of any common trouble spots for them?

    Update: The left side reverse light is now functional. After removing the old bulb and using a dremel with wire brush attached in the socket, the left side reverse light lives again. I'm going to go back to the right side with the same dremel to see if it fixes the problem.

    Edit:
    On the right side, that turned out to be part of the case. Good news is that they are now BOTH working. Yay! Now for the alternator....
