Noticed the key will pull out of the lock cylinder in any position even with it running so was looking to replace it. How do you remove the old?
Does the whole assembly around it need to come off including steering wheel?

I have the bottom plastic cover off and thought maybe there's a pin you depress to remove like on some other toyotas but don't see anything

 

There should be a pin holding it in. Might be on the top side tho. I think you need to have the key in the "ON" position to be able to actually release it
