Hello y’all. Was wondering if you guys did a rear end swap in your trucks. Mine has a ford 8.8. What driveshafts did you use? Did you get one made? I just bought this 94 Toyota pickup 22e. 5 speed transmission. I read the articles on the site. Just wondering on the driveshaft. Thank you.

When I installed a GM 14 bolt ff axle in my camper I had to have a new driveshaft fabricated. Some axles you can get adapters to convert you Toyota driveshaft to fit. In my case, the 14 bolt uses a spicer 44 u-joint. No adapters available. If you’re installing a beefier axle a new driveshaft is a good idea.
