Well trying to get this mod done this winder. Want to use a single piston caliper w/ parking brake from Wilwood, but the price is going to keep me from that for now($227 ea). So will use the GM 79-85 Caddy calipers w/ parking brake. Just ordered a set w/ pads New,off E-Bay $138 shipped.
Have the brackets from Skybrake ($70), for use w/ GM calipers. Cable will be from Lokar( will get the weekend @ the GoodGuys show),& the rotors ,drilled/slotted SVO 11.32"/0.95 thickness will come from brakeplanet.com ($86 for the pr.)
Will post photo's once I get going on the install!!

Has anyone tried using the complete rear axle from the toyota Previa. There are plenty at the J/Y's with disc brakes. Ofcourse the brakets will need to be cut off and spring perches welded on but it's cheap and some come with lsd!!!

I would think the Previa rear end is too small & the axle shafts the same for truck use.
This is the lest expensive route I found!

plus i think smaller axle equals more wider tires in rear without loosing track width?

I am not sure about the axle but I am running a previa 7.5 inch 3rd member housing with factory 3.73s

Well work is going good, removed the axles[IMG]
    Cut the backing plate off[IMG]
    Removed the bearings,seals,o-ring,retainers & clips
    [IMG]
Ran into a problem with the brackets I got from Sky Manufacturing.I forgot they use GM rotors as well as GM calipers. There's a difference in the rotor heights,so the calipers wouldn't fit over the bracket. So I trace the pattern to cardboard, than make a mock up of plastic(easier to work with)[IMG]

Ran into a problem with the brackets I got from Sky Manufacturing,as they are made to fit GM rotors, & there's a difference in height between them & the Mustang SVO's.
I made a pattern & mock up bracket of plastic (for ease of workability)
    the fit was good
    [IMG]
Though I found it flex just enough to give a false fit, I had to machine the mounting ears @ both the caliper end & flange end
    [IMG]
    3/8" plate was used

Got the new brake lines in place[IMG]
    Proportioning valve in place[IMG]
    E-brake cable pieces in place[IMG]
Will paint all the metal pieces today, reinstall all tomorrow,& bleed the system.
May have to modify the c-notch,as clearance with the e-brake lever on the calipers is close. If have to do this I'll narrow it down a little & replate it.
    Photo's to follow

Just have to adjust the e- brake better, & long test drive. Clearance with the e-brake lever to frame seems ok.

The Mustang SVO rotors fit right onto the hub once all the drum stuff is removed.Same bolt pattern & center hole size. 11.32 " /.95" rotor size. The drilled /slotted are a great price from brakeplanet.com
    At the front I used Wilwood rotor 12.19"/ .85" & hat w/ a Toyota 4 Runner 4-piston caliper.
