Rag Joint??

    What do you guys do to replace the flexable steering coupler ( rag joint) on our trucks? I was able to find the factory toyota ones online for $50-60 bucks but that seems a bit steep to me. Ill buy the toyota one if its the only thing available. Without trying to sound like a cheap @@s theres got to be a cheaper option out there.

    I did try rockauto.com and all my local parts places. All the ones ive seen in the yards aren't much better then mine.

    I got a new rag for the joint, to rebuild mine, in the "Help" section at the local parts store. The help section is prepackaged parts that hang on pegs....down one of the isles. Usually with or next to all the little plastic body connectors and such.They have 2 different sizes. Just make sure you get the right one. I don't believe their computer lists the parts in the Help packages. Good luck man!

    I actually bought both of them few weeks ago and the bigger one is to big and the small one is to small. I appreciate the reply and recommendations though.
