What kind of ignition replacement parts are available for these trucks. I can't seem to find any wires from Taylor, MSD (except for the Tacos), or Accel. I'm looking to upgrade my cap, rotor, wires, and hopefully coil, but I don't know where to look. Any suggestions?

Try NGK spark plug wires. I have some blue ones. Otherwise try LCEngineering.

Any round MSD or Accel brand coil will work, real simple wire change if you have the odd toyota shaped coil. Plug wires I was able to find a direct fit 8mm-ish set for a 22R on www.summitracing.com Plugs people like the NGK's. I haven't tried them, I use Autolite's and have good luck with them. Cap and rotor just get one at the parts store. I haven't found anything special about those. Try to find brass inserts in the cap.

So the 22R wire set will work on the 22RE motor? Also, would the MSD wires for the Taco work since they're for the 2.4 motor?

I believe it starts at 93 & up, if you look at the wires, they have a plastic housing with a locking clip that hold them to the cap as well as the coil. You would have to replace your cap & your coil to like a MSD/ ACCEL so the locking tab style wires wouldnt be needed & you could get aftermarket type wires. So the answer would be no for these models.
