but still happy anyways....... also have some nice 2wd fenders to slap back on my truck sitting in the garage along with a SR5 tach cluster anyone need a set of decent 4wd fenders? might also be selling my clear corners since i'll need to buy some 2wd clear corners
Same kind ive got on my 91...if you look at the end of the arms youll see they sit slightly higher-(2 -inches I think) than the rest of the arm. Thats where you bolt the spindle/brake hub etc too & it makes it sit higher up thus lower the front more!
javi- these are my new DJM 3" drop lower control arms. they drop your truck 3 inches and retain your current ride quality. much appreciated on your christmas present.... cant wait for that to get here as well SMC- they are advertised as 3 inch.... hope thats what i get out of them. javi- i got these from Summitracing.com for $207.xx shipped to my door combined with the 2 inch belltech spindles i have and a few more tweaks of the torsion bars, i should be riding at a healthy 6-7 inches worth of drop in the front. i have 3 inch belltech drop leafs in the rear and will be getting some Beefed Taco 3 or 4 inch steel tapered steel blocks later this week as well. this combined will net me around 6-7 inches of drop in the rear. if my calculations are correct, i should be tucking the wheel up into the fender line once im done.
my only question is, how the hell are u going to go over a speed bump? make sure to take pics! if my truck doesnt sit low enough i might be doing this as well.
Look at my truck & youll see how low hell sit...I scrape over spped bumps, but its nothing that Im not used too lol! Oh a SD YOTA after I posted my comment I realized I put 2 instead of 3 inches lol. So your good...youll get the drop your looking for!
thanks guys. imma get working on it here in a few. gotta go pick up a few other parts i need. frinzo- im having my exhaust cut and tucked up higher and cross member notched to clear above te frame rails just like pictured below..... it'll help allot with the crapping. im also going to ramp my spring hanger for the rear. smctoy- its all good man, i figured you typ-o-ed
yeah I need new crossmembers because mine used to scrape speedbumps when I had my torsions all the way down... anyone make them cheap ? and Alex,I looked on summit and could not find them

DJM Suspension CA2855L-3 link to the arms.... http://store.summitracing.com/partd...907510+4294839061+4294848363+115&autoview=sku
here's what it ended up as of today. before anything, i would like to thank my buddies Mike and Allan for all their help. thanks to you guys the time whent by faster and so did the work. thank you... thank you much! i guess sometimes, "lower standards" are not so bad at all..... LCA comparison. JDM 3" on the right. the one issue i did run into after everything was done was.......... how the hell to get the damn jack out from under the truck? [/quote]
yea...... i ended up placing a 4x4 block of wood under the tires then jacked it from the side frame rails....... im gonna have to get a low-profile approach jack cus otherwise my old jack just wont cut it.
