    1989 toyota sr5 v6 4WD! so i finally got a 4x4. after doing a couple of quick fixes i got it running like a champ! also bought some second-hand rims and tires for $400 what a deal. in the near future im planning on a SAS, and all-pro front, rear bumpers, and all-pro sliders and prob a warn winch for looks lol! so enough with the road rash, i wanna get dirty!! :evil:

    Ho. whos dis? and plans are a straight front axle with the stock 89-95 4.30 gearings and a small 3-4 suspension inch lift with some 33's i dont want it super high like all those pavement princess lifted show trucks.

    Sounds like a decent build... well better than wreaking a perfect 4B than 90% of the truggies on pirate. I am looking for a simmilar setup for my '80, but I'm going 5.29 gearing and 35's with simmilar lift. Keep us posted on the build.

    i like the look of the staright axle, and the functionality and its strentgh, i really dont mind a stiff ride and idk to me toyota shouldve made every single 4x4 with a straight axle, and if you dont like the stiff ride buy a f*ckin 2wd!
