You mean your oil pressure warning switch / sender? The diagnostic procedure is at: http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1993/bodyelectrical/6combinat.pdf
Well, if it does not shut off at the pressure its suppose to, then its broken?! That's the only thing that would cause that to happen.
yea but when i bought the truck the guy didnt tell me what pressure its suppose to cut off and i dont kno how to tell either
do you know what your tank is rated to? usually pressure switches are 110-145 on setups like this?? http://www.suicidedoors.com/catalog/air-management/pressure-switches If it gets close to your tank limit, id replace it
idk i have a 5gallon tank but i let the pressure build all the way to 150 but the gauge stops there so idk i guess ill just replace it
if you take it up to 150, and then kill the power to all of it, then turn it all back on it should not come on even if its a 145-175 switch. But if in doubt, i would change it anyway..lol
