My 30 year old baby has been relegated to outside parking. Has aged more in 6 months than in 29 years. :(

Between a boxelder and pine needles think my interior ducts are full of junk. Turned on the fan yesterday, doesn't work on low, and medium and high I can hear stuff hitting the squirrel cage, and lots of crap coming out of the ducts.

Looks like only 3 screws holding the blower motor on, can it just be lowered and cleaned without tearing the dash apart?

Which also makes me wonder where else the junk may accumulate.

    No A/C.

I'd like to know how difficult removing the dash to access everything and clean it is. Feel comfortable working on the outside, but interior scares me to death. Haven't found much on the internet, and the Chilton manual I have is written for someone who is a lot more advanced than I. I need pictures and step by step.

Reckon my old mechanic could do it, but he dislikes interior work per a discussion we've had.

    Thanks
