Hi guys, new to the site, but not Toyotas.

Getting ready to lay out my 93 std cab, 2wd. Im doing a full on rebuild, have the bed off now, and pplan on removing the cab soon. While the cabs off, I am going to clean, paint the frame, etc.

However, would it be smart to Z the frame with the body off?
After its Z'D, I want to do the body drop..
    Then, do the airbag install.

Thinking Im going to have someone weld the notch in get that out of the way now..

Please be patient with me as Im sure Ill have a few questions from the ones whove been around this block a time or two, and Ill be sure to use the search button...

    Oh, and Hello! from GA....

    ----Michael.

    Michael,

Welcome to the site. Here is a link to my build thread, lots of pics and info, thought you would appreciate it. I did not do this work, I have done basically everything after the suspension work was done though.

    Good luck
    Pete

Getting your suspension done "1st" is the very most important mod in Mini Truckin' IMOP! I learned the lesson the hard way with my last truck!

So, it'd be alright to remove the cab, then Z? I will have the cab back on after the frames been cleaned and I have put a clutch in (cabs gonna be cleaned and re-undercoated, plus its easier to access the framerails and clutch), that way Ill know where to cut the fenderwells and such when we do the bags install.., thanks for the link too!
