Alright guys its official! We have a TMOTM contest! And basically its gonna go a little like this...

--BASIC IDEA--


All submissions will be looked at and accepted. Each month I will choose 2 trucks and start a poll where everyone votes for which truck they like best. The poll will go on for the last 7 days of each month, so basically a week for everyone to get their votes in. The winner will have bragging rights for the following month.

Now I know a lot of you are thinking "but the bagged trucks are going to win". Please believe that there will not be a static truck going up against a bagged one. I will choose two trucks that are evenly matched and in the same category (bagged, static or performance).


--SUBMISSION GUIDELINE--
All submissions must be e-mailed to me at... [email protected]
Start off with your NAME, SCREEN NAME, LOCATION(your choice to post this info) and YEAR/MODEL of your truck. Any modification done to the truck must be written down in list form and 3 pictures must be attached to the email. I will not use more than 3 pictures per contestant, so choose them wisely.


Heres an example of how everything should be written out...

So YOU are going to pick 2 trucks that YOU think match up evenly. Then YOU will post it up for us to vote on the 2 YOU picked.

 

I second that. Why can't we nominate trucks?

A couple thoughts....
1) I think there should be at least 3 maybe 4 to choose from
2) Why can't a static truck go against a bagged truck? There are some really nice lookin static trucks on here. (not talking just about mine :lol)

Also, if we start this TOTM, then we should delete the other thread TOTM that's a sticky.

 

because the last time that the method of nominating trucks came up, it failed miserably. i figured we would try doing two trucks but depending on the volume of submissions we could do 3 or more at one time.

I see what you guys are saying about me choosing the contestants but this is one way to start this up. and as time goes by we can make changes to the contest.

but we cant see how well things will work out if we dnt get more submissions

This is my attempt at a sober post.
Jetta, if you start with what submissions you have presently, more submissions will come in the future. Build it........they will come.

 

yah guys submit your trucks. There is nothing to hide and nothing to loose. We all know each other and this is a great way to show appretiation towards one anothers hard work. EVen with stock trucks its the simplicity of the fact we are all on the same page, WE LOVE TOYOTAS.

As far as just having Jetas pick Id say lets get this thing rolling and then maybe we can start working on a committe or panel of judges. I happen to have the ability to pick the good and bad of any ride without being bias. This is also easy for me since I dont know any of you personally besides Nvrenufedge. I love all toy trucks no matter year or mods.

 

I know some of you guys here are against this because you dont like the idea i put out there but we cant make changes to my idea if theres no cooperation from more members.

EDIT: So so far i have 3 submissions. EUROFREAK2002, NVRENUFEDGE, and a unknown.

 

If i could get my rims on i would submit. I like the idea but feel a few things might need to change.

Maybe one month be static, one month be bagged, one month be performance and if you want to enter in your truck to every month even though it is not the right type then everyone is welcome but that would need to be taken into consideration. And i feel everyone posts there 3 pictures and everyone gets to vote on it. I would honestly be down for whatever as long as i get to see pictures of everyone elses trucks often. haha

 

Lol well like i said, the idea i posted is just easy enough to get things started. I was already thinking of switching between bagged, static, etc. But we wont know how things will need to be changed if theres no participation from more members. And dnt worry about not having rims, we can update your submission if needed.

I figured i would take the initiative to talk to the staff to get this going but a lot of members seem to not like the idea.

 

I am down but i want to see all the submissions it would be awesome to have every post the same submission that you have created but post it on the forum. Then you can go back each month and see the submissions.

 

Main reason why i didnt want everyone posting their submission on this thread is because it will get too cluttered. But when the poll is up the list of mods will be posted for each truck along with the pictures.
