    Hello eveyone!

My name is Brad and I picked up this 1990 Xtra Cab for hauling me and my wife's scooters around.

This is the day I picked it up from a fellow co-worker:

It needed tires badly, so first thing I found was a set of Crown Vic wheels and tires off craigslist.

Here are the wheels on the truck.

Currently I'm looking to replace my truck bed, so if anyone has one for sale in good condition please let me know:)

I'd even be willing to take just the passenger side bed panel if possible.

Other things I've done so far are just some shocks, replacing fluids, new air filter, NGK wires and plugs.

It's got 285K miles and still kickin pretty good. Next up should be drive belts and just ordered some new mirrors since the ones one there now are no bueno.

    Hey Brad,
Welcome to the site!!! Your truck has about 10K miles more than my '82 SR5. In the last 15 years or so, my driving mileage has decreased since my job is a lot closer than before and I don't have to drive to school any longer. And plus, I try to group my errands so there are no repeated trips.

So, what's going on with the passenger side of the bed? (dented?) I have a source here in San Jose that may be able to help you. Where exactly is Palmdale?

    Rick

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

Yeah it's pretty dented. Here is a pick

Palmdale is 1 hour north of Los Angeles.

As for lowering it, I've been thinking about it. Not sure if I wanna do it the cheap way?

    Brad,
Why don't you try Dings & Dents? We have one here in San Jose, but do a Google search for one in your area.

    Rick,

You mean paint less dent removal? Ive used them before when I had a large door ding on my other car, but never thought about using them for something like this. It's worth a shot, the worse thing is they'll say they cant do it.

I also just found someone on cl with the panel I need, but you never know with Craigslist flakers. I emailed him so hopefully we can work something out.

Thanks for the welcome Patrick! :)

    Quick question guys:

What are the requirements for trying to sell something on the forum? I have a set of 16" 5x114 wheels off a newer accord that are just collecting dust in my shed that I would like to try and sell. When I try and create a new topic in the wheel section of the f/s subforum, it tells me I dont have access.

    Thanks in advance,

    Brad
